[Review] Crazy Taxi on IOS

For those of you who've never played Crazy Taxi, the rules are mercifully simple. You are the taxi driver, and you task is to pick up passengers and drive them, as fast and as crazily as possible, to where they want to go. The faster and crazier you go, the more money you earn.
The more money you earn, the more winning you do. That’s about it. The game core game play is a slick and faithful homage to the original, and it works surprisingly well on a touchscreen steering's handled with buttons on the left side of the screen, while acceleration and reverse pedals are handled on the right. A double tap on the pedals gives a boost of speed, while doing the same to the steering sends the taxi into a drift. When you are in the town they have a time for you (don’t forget that this arcade game) so you must take the customer the nearest and send them as fast as possible by on road or off road (in park, supermarket, sea,) or jump cross build the problem that you found on the road is the some car in you lane, avoid it otherwise you loss time because when you hit the car the speed will reduce It's interesting to note that in the decade or so since Crazy Taxi's release, games like GTA have rendered these full releases as mini-games within a much bigger context.
Still, you couldn't ask for a more faithful recreation of a slice of gaming history, and there's enough here to satisfy nostalgia-freaks, as well as those who missed out on the game the first time around. That’s a very minor niggle. Crazy Taxi is lots of fun for five bucks, and your kids will love it. This is Sega doing what Sega does best.
